# VETS — Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions > VETS (Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions) is a nonprofit that funds access to psychedelic-assisted therapy for U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress (PTSD), and related trauma. Founded in 2019 by former Navy SEAL Marcus Capone and Amber Capone, VETS also funds clinical research — including the first mechanistic study of ibogaine in SOF veterans at Stanford University — and advocates for federal and state policy reform to expand legal access to these treatments. VETS operates across three pillars: **Resources** (connecting veterans and their families to treatment through the Healing Grants program), **Research** (funding clinical studies on ibogaine, psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine, and 5-MeO-DMT), and **Advocacy** (reforming federal and state policy). The Healing Grants program covers the cost of psychedelic-assisted therapy for qualifying post-9/11 Special Operations Forces veterans. ## About - [Our Story](https://vetsolutions.org/our-story/): How VETS was founded after the Capone family's own experience with psychedelic-assisted therapy - [About / Mission](https://vetsolutions.org/about/): Mission, values, and organizational overview - [Pillars](https://vetsolutions.org/pillars/): The three pillars — Resources, Research, and Advocacy - [Team](https://vetsolutions.org/team/): Founders, leadership, board of directors, and advisory board - [Partners](https://vetsolutions.org/partners/): Organizations and sponsors supporting VETS - [Careers](https://vetsolutions.org/careers/): Open positions at VETS ## Programs - [Healing Grants](https://vetsolutions.org/healing-grants/): Grant program covering psychedelic-assisted therapy costs for qualifying SOF veterans — eligibility and application - [Research](https://vetsolutions.org/research/): Clinical studies on psychedelic-assisted therapy for TBI and PTSD, including the Stanford ibogaine study - [Advocacy](https://vetsolutions.org/advocacy/): Federal and state policy reform work to expand veteran access to breakthrough therapies - [Resources](https://vetsolutions.org/resources/): Educational materials and referrals for veterans and their families - [E-Course](https://vetsolutions.org/e-course/): Educational course on psychedelic-assisted therapy ## News & Updates - [News](https://vetsolutions.org/news/): Press releases, research updates, blog posts, podcasts, and media coverage ## Get Involved - [Ways to Give](https://vetsolutions.org/ways-to-give/): One-time, monthly, stock, crypto, DAF, employer matching, and legacy giving - [Corporate Partnerships](https://vetsolutions.org/corporate-partnerships/): Sponsorship and corporate partnership opportunities - [Events](https://vetsolutions.org/events/): Annual Gala, fundraisers, and advocacy events - [Share Your Story](https://vetsolutions.org/share-your-story/): Veteran testimonials and story submissions ## Optional - [FAQ](https://vetsolutions.org/faqs/): Questions about psychedelic therapy, eligibility, PTSD/TBI, and ibogaine - [Gala](https://vetsolutions.org/gala/): Annual fundraising gala - [Shop](https://shop.vetsolutions.org): Official VETS merchandise
